Synthesis of the edaphological data available in 2018. Overview of the edaphic structure and information on the distribution of soils, their morphology, and their physical, chemical and biological characteristics.

Two versions of the same map are offered: One version follows the classification system Soil Taxonomy (SSS, 2014), the historically most used system in soils cartography in Catalonia. The other one follows the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (IUSS Working Group WRB, 2015), a system proposed for the interoperability of soils data in the specifications of the INSPIRE Directive.
