Map digitally produced from the generalization of cartographic databases and own information of the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC), updated on May 2024. With regard to the roads network, nomenclatures and kilometric points, the information has been provided by the Ministry of Development and the General Directorate of Roads (DTES). Bathymetry mapping is taken from the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy.

Geodetic reference system: ETRS89 (GRS80 ellipsoid). UTM cartographic projection 31 north.

The differences between the 2021 (13th) and 2024 (14th, current) editions of the map are basically the updating of the planimetry and toponymy contents. Some examples:

• Administrative boundaries: Changes in the district of the municipalities of Biosca and Torà; new district of Lluçanès.
• Road network: New sections of the A-27 (Valls - Montblanc) and B-40 (Abrera - Terrassa) roads.
• Constructions: Expansion of residential and industrial areas and removal of the Alfés Aerodrome (out of service).
• Toponymy: Change of name of the municipalities of Bigues i Riells del Fai; la Ràpita; Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro i s'Agaró; Masarac i Vilarnadal.
